Philip J. Hundl is a shareholder and named partner of Wadler, Perches & Hundl. Mr. Hundl represents clients in a variety of industries including oil services, banking, real estate investments, insurance, manufacturing companies, municipalities, family farming and ranching operations and private individuals. Mr. Hundl’s practice encompasses a wide range of areas from civil litigation, real estate and commercial transactions, estate planning, probate, and family law. In 2006, Mr. Hundl was elected to represent, as State Attorney, the Catholic Union of Texas, the K.J.T. Before returning to his hometown of Wharton, Philip practiced law with the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, in its San Antonio and Houston offices, primarily in the areas of products liability, commercial litigation and international arbitration. Mr. Hundl received his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Denver, College of Law. Mr. Hundl is admitted to practice law in all state courts of Texas, and in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Texas. Philip Hundl is a 1988 graduate of Wharton High School, attended Wharton County Junior College and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry Science from Texas A & M University in 1992. While at Texas A & M, he was a member of the 12th Man Kick-Off Team, received a varsity letter in football and was named Aggie Student – Athlete of the Week. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Hundl managed production operations, sales, marketing, distribution and technical service activities for Tyson Foods, Inc., in Mexico and in other parts of Latin America for Cobb-Vantress, Inc, a subsidiary of Tyson Foods. Through his work experiences in Latin America, Philip attained fluency in Spanish and conversational skills in Portuguese, which remain useful skills in his daily law practice. In addition to his legal practice, Philip has held leadership positions in my many service and professional organizations. Philip is the past and the current President of the Wharton County Bar Association, a Director on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Wharton and a member of the Wharton Rotary Club, State Bar College of Texas, Texas A & M Letterman’s Association Wharton County A & M Club, Texas Aggie Bar Association. Philip has recently been a member of the Pro Bono College of the State Bar, San Antonio International Law Section, Secretary, World Affairs Council of San Antonio, Free Trade Alliance of San Antonio and San Antonio Manufacturers Association.
